We produced a report for East Midlands Council to help Local Authorities improve their economic development practice and learn from each other.

This study highlights how the recession and economic downturn placed financial pressure on Councils, and led communities and businesses to place increasing demands on services. At the same time, it draws attention to the huge range and variety of activities undertaken by Councils to respond.
